Oscar's reputation on rocking stones

So the judge Thokozile Masipa has set the date where Oscar will get his sentencing.Oscar was accused of murdering his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp,before the trial even started he has lost most of his sponsorships and endorsments.For example Nike pulled out the time they heard he shot his girlfriend.

According to the news Oscar was one of the world's most in-demand sport personalities for marketers.Now he is sitting without any sponsorships and companies like Oakley has terminated  their contract with him.Even M-net had pulled down their billboards which had Oscar's face on them.

The trial will have a negative effect on his reputation because most organisations can not associate themselves with individuals who have criminal records.Oscar will have to start from the bottom to make people trust him again as a brand,it wont be a easy ride but he has to try his best.On the 11th September he will be charged with cases like premeditated murder,manslaughter or culpable homicide,discharging firearms in public and illegal possession of ammunition.

Most of us will say Oscar is not left with much besides his family because he has lost of his fans just because of this case.It is really painful to think that not so long ago you has everything but now you stand at the edge of loosing everything you had just because of one mistake or action you took without thinking.

Guys lets just hope his sentencing will make everyone happy and people will not see it as unfair or anything and that the Steenkamp family will find closure.What do you guys think,it is fair or not?

Oscar and the trial

Hey good people,I know we all have been following the Oscar Pistorius trial and what are your thoughts about it ,guilty or not guilty? after so many days oh wait it has been five months of going to court ,imagine every day you wake up knowing that you will be in court the whole day.

This changes your daily routine at least he did not spend all these four months in prison.Oscar  got bail on the 22nd of february 2013 even though it  was a huge amount of money ,I am talking about R1 million because the court saw it that he posed as a flight risk.

The trial

Then there was the starting of the trial was set for the 3-20th of march 2014 but to everyones suprise  the case went on longer then we expected and can guess who the trial was assigned to ? yes you got it right judge Thokozile Masipa who appointed two assesssors Janette Henzen du Toit and Themba Mazibuko.

Lets face it guys this trial has some of the best lawyers on in I mean we talking about Barry Roux and the  prosecutor Gerrie Nel,though this trial we have heard testimonies of many witnesses ,some wanted to stay anoymous and they all spoke about what they heard that night.Doctors ,Pathelogist ,and even anaesthesiologist testified.
Some of us would say Oscar showed some remorse about what happened ,some would disagree.What are your views about this trial since we were following it from day one and they have come with a date which the sentencing process will start on the 7th August.Let us chat again after the 7th but I still want to know your views about the trial.
